You can really improve your photo presentations by not downloading them to this site (plus that eats up server space)

It is easy.

1.Sign up for free photo hosting at one of numerous sites.
I like www.photobucket.com Ike recommends www.allyoucanupload.com

2.Download pics you want to post to the hosting site (photobucket)

3. copy and paste the url address of the pic you want to post, then put
[ img] in front of the url address and [ /img] at the end of it.

example

[ img]http://i69.photobucket.com/albums/i58/Torkmax/house2.jpg[ /img]

I added spaces right after each left bracket so it would not post as a picture so you could see what it looks like.
With out those spaces it posts as a pic, not text

As to item three. If you copy the "Img" text box, the image tags will be included when you paste.

first try did not work?

Anyone know the maximum number of photos allowed to be posted in a thread using the vB code?

I received this error: You have included too many images in your signature or in your previous post. Please go back and correct the problem and then continue again.

Images include use of smilies, the vB code

Images include use of smilies, the vB code tag and HTML <img> tags. The use of these is all subject to them being enabled by the administrator.[/QUOTE]

do you have the show images box checked in the your user cp/edit options

Yes I do, I think the problem is I am trying to link way too many pictures from photobucket, 54 to be exact. Trying to figure out how to get them all on here to show.

yeah that's a ton!!!! you're gonna need to break them up into seperate posts. but honestly with that many pics you should probably just put them in one album in photbucket then put a link to the album

Oh okay yeah that makes more sense, kind of disappointing, I think it would look better with the pics right on the thread, instead of linking. I found out 5 is the maximum, but when you use the links from another site it doesn't take up memory from this server, (according to this thread) so you would think the limit on pics would only apply when you upload them to this site.
