I really like that sled. It looks very sharp.
You'll have to start with the mods like head gasket and reed spacers. Really wakes them up. Turk can help you with what to run for clutching.
You going to pipe and port it?

I am going to do the head gasket mod, silencer mod, and the reed notch hopefully tomorrow. Then shoot Turk an PM with some clutching tips when I get some cash flow. Im going to the snow show tomorrow in the morning so I am hoping I can find some adjustable transfer rods and get those on there, and maybe a skid plate....

Looks Sharp, I bought a SXR700 this fall as well. Do a search in the SXR/VMAX forum for reliable mods. I posted this question about a month ago and recieved some good advice as well as clutch set up from TURK!
I will be watching for your posts to see what you do.
Enjoy.

makes me miss my sxr 700
Ya I did that this weekend, took the air box out, took the carbs off and cleaned everything, did some painting as well mostly the grilles and some other things. I am going to get some touch up paint as well cause there are a few rust spots on the trailing arms but nothing major....
