Took both my sleds on my lawn today.Had to move one to the shed anyways. The SXR600 handled good on grass, turned good to.Left a lot of lines in the lawn from the carbide runners.Took the SRX out to just because.Lifted the front end up easily.Digs the grass up for about 15-20 feet and then she takes off.But the steering was useless with the dual carbides.Couldn't turn like the single runner SXR.Pinned it a few times from a standstill, she launches and flies.Man were my clutches ever hot after that.Do the heelclickers make the clutches hotter because of the clamping force.I hope they run cooler when it is cold outside.Anyways it was fun, just had to do it.
Have a few spots where the grass was dug up,she will grow back.LOL.

The clutches will always be warmer on grass than snow. When you hit the gas on snow your track will actually spin instead of your belt always slipping on the grass. This is why there are different setups for grass racers than snow racers. Not saying that your clutches won't be warm when the snow comes, you will likely need to do some tweaking to get the most efficient setup. As far as the dual carbide runners, you will have the same turning effect in the snow. I found that when running my dad's warrior a few times last season that I was always pushing through in the corners more so than the single runners. The single runners always dug in good.
I'm still waiting to get my SRX out on the lawn! lol. Snowmobiler TV is on today at 1pm eastern on City TV Edmonton (channel 347 if you have starchoice) I can't wait!!! lol hope it's not another re-run.
