I asked Turk about them a couple years back and he said to save your money.I have been very pleased with what he recommended using stock parts.Thats on my sx-r 700 though, maybe yours is different and it also depends on what your trying to do as Tony says.

From what I know they are good for trail riding corner to corner, but most like to eat top end up a little. From what I hear they need extra side force (via stiffer secondary spring) to keep the clutches from overshifting. More pressure in the secondary is more pressure that the primary has to overcome before both clutches can fully shift out. They upshift and backshift fast, but just can't get as good of top end out of them.

Thats just what I hear but i'm sure somebody who has actually ran one will chime in on their results with a roller.

The roller clutch is more consistant in varying snow conditions and better backshifting overall, but it will not be a gain in a drag race if you have your button secondary setup correctly!

i use the ad-vantage roller. would never go back to a button clutch. have done a bunch of testing on snow - ice - grass - asphalt ( timers & radar ). works great for me!!

Pro's & cons

Ever heard that description used when talking about clutching? lol. It is tough to prevent them from overshifting but the backshift is great! Awesome for corner to corner. I'm having trouble getting enough weight in the primary on my SRX and I plan to try the Heel-X roller I have on my SRX this year.

Trail riding rollers are great. As for drag racing or speed running button is much better in my opinion. Don't have to fight the backshift can run less spring.
