How hard is it to mount a skid from a REV into a Pro Action chassis? Is there anything different about the mounting points that make it more difficult? The SC10 3 seems to be the skid of choice but the only ones I've seen come from Rev based sleds and wondered if transferring the mounting points to my SRX will be more difficult. Thanks

There are a couple guys that have made that switch on here. I myself was going to do the same but decided to go with an edge skid instead. I read that some were having trouble getting good weight transfer with the sc10-3 in a srx.
I have put a edge skid in my srx and it was not hard to do once I got the dims

I had a cat skid in my MM. Doo SC3 in the mnt. SRX I'm riding now. I like the Doo skid better. My tunnel is a Van Amberg so can't help you with mounting dim.

The rear shaft on the SC-10III is the same length as the proaction, but the shaft diameter is bigger. So if the drop bracket you use has a slot like the CB Perf one, then you just need to drill out the mounting hole to the correct bolt size (doo larger than Yami) and mill out the slot to accept the 1 1/2" dia shaft of the SC10. The front shaft on the doo skid is shorter, but an easy fix, take a couple old center suspension mount plates out of a proaction and weld in two washers on each side, rivot the plate in the correct place and whahlaaa, you have the correct tunnel width for the SC10.

Go to jbshocks.com for edge dimensions. No they aren`t the same as a prox.

Pro-X suspension is quite a bit different than an Edge skid. Different geometry, longer shocks, longer torque arms, etc.
Just an FYI, some Pro-X owners have dropped their front mount 3/4-7/8"(I think). I haven't tried it personally but it gets rid of the dead spot in the first 3" of travel in the skid. It will make the sled ride better though and gives you a little more weight transfer as it takes some weight off the skis. For my style riding and 144" track length I don't think increasing the approach angle of the track is something I should do.
I'm not sure if that 3/4-7/8" is exactly right, I can double check if you want.
Not sure if this is something that will effect a SRX with a Pro-X skid too or not?
