the bottom one is center to center and the other is offset - it won't work if you have electric start - you place it across the back side of the clutches. Hope that helps.

the long skinny part sits on the backside of the primary clutch, the fatter end with the small notch sits on the backside of the secondary clutch, the small notch is to clear the windage plate button head bolts, so it will remain flat against the back of the secondary clutch, this is your offset, the other tool simply drops on your primary shaft and your jackshaft(with secondary removed) this is for your center to center.
ok thnx .....didnt come with instruction ...just to make sure i was right how to use them really appreciate
will i see any gain if the c to c is to short the motor need to go forward to slide the tools in

it will alow the belt to ride where its suspose to at full shift u should gain some top end if i remeber right. but if its to far it can jam the belt to far into the secondary and the cogs can grab the ramps that hold the hylix and then theres a big bang the sled over revs and ur sled coast to a stop. then u start freakin out cause u think u blew ur motor, u clucth just shrapneled, or ur track just came out the back of ur sled. when its ur 2 secoday sheves are no loner conected cuase the bet riped all the ramps off the inner sheeve. oh did i mention its happened to me.
