Im buying a new sled this week and wanted a little input.
Im undecided between an APEX GT or the APEX GT LTX.
How much better does a 136 ride compared to the 121.
Is it worth the sacrafice in cornering and the loss of top end speed?
Thank you in advance for youre coments.

LOL...Here we go..lol
You will not lose any cornering ability. After the first ride or two, you won't even notice it in the corners anymore. The 136's ride much better, hook up and may even bridge the wash board bumps better as well.
As for a top end loss, I don't think so. If there is any, it can be nothing to speak of. I'm assuming this is a trail machine you are buying, so what does 5 mph matter, if even that much.
Use the search option and you'll be reading about this debate for days. Also search on the 4 stroke side.

your better off to ask on the four stroke side http://www.ty4stroke.com/
but the difference between a 121 and 136 depends on the riding you do. if you want traction but don't want to stud, a 136 will give you more traction. you will lose a slight amount of top end with the longer track, but i would be confident in saying that those who went from a 121 to a 136 track would never go back to a 121 in regular riding conditions. any other questions you have about the apex, the guys on the four stroke side will be able to tell you more than you need to know!

Viper,
You are correct. I will never go back to a 121. Matter-of-fact. I'm changing my sled to a 144" this season.
SnowD.,
That's great advice from Viper. register on the 4 stroke side, if you haven't already, and you'll find all the info you can take. I will be more than happy to help with any questions I can. This is my third year playing around and Modifying the Apex style sleds. I can answer a few things for ya. lol
Copy and paste the link below to see what I am up to this season.
( I don't know how to make that link live. lol )
