Edge skid swap vs. ZR skid swap

My girlfriend has an 02 viper. I can trade the stock skid for a zr or edge skid +100 bucks. Its cheaper than getting the shocks done. What skid swap would be better and easier? Also can I mount the skid lower in the tunnel so that I can run a ripsaw with studs?

It is the front drivers you have to deal with to run the ripsaw with studs. You need the small drivers for clearance of the front heat exchanger. As far as the skid I would think the Polaris skid would be easier as more people I thiink have done it. Jbshocks.com has the pictures with the measurements.
