Riding time for me this winter is going to be slim, between building a new house and a wife who is due with our first child at the end of January I will be lucky to get 2 or 3 trips in.

I am planning on pulling the sleds out this weekend and getting the carbs cleaned and everything else gone through. Weather permitting I would like to take a trip right before Christmas at which time I will leave the sleds at our house up north. The sleds will likely sit there for 2+ months before I get to use them again. The question is how do I ensure I won't have to clean the pilots again after the sled sits for 2 or 3 month. Seafoam, drain the carbs, don't worry about it?

Thanks

I fill mine to 3/4 full of fresh fuel and then put in some Sta-bil as per directions and run then for a bit to get the Sta-bil in the carbs. Never had any problem with my bikes or sleds.

I agree. Put stabil in the tank and then fill it up all the way to keep as much air out of the tank as possible. The hot summer is when the gas evaporates the worst, so you should be fine.

fill em up and seafoam them and you will be fine. might have to put a little gas in the cyls to get them running again but they will be fine.
