Older sled ?

How hard is it to repair the belly pan on the late 70's SRX's and Exciter's? - are there pans available out there? - I would like to pick up and old SRX or Exciter, but most of them I've seen so far have beat up belly pans!

Do a search in the vintage. I remember a thread about trying to get somebody to reproduce them with all the popularity of the old sleds. It sounded like new were almost impossible to find.

Yeah - almost impossible to find new, and those that are out there are probably worth as much or more than the sled you'd stick it on. Opsled (Phil) sold one on Ebay in Sept for $644 (it's still in my Ebay watch list).
