Are your carbs still vented to the airbox? That will make a big difference in jetting if they are.

disconnect lines to the airbox
run hauck's head gasket
add rear heat exchanger
stock is 156.3 mains on all 3 cylinders
probably go to 146 on pto and center, and 148 on mag for right at 3,000 feet
go down one more on each cylinder when at 5000-7000 feet
pilots leave alone for 3,000 feet and maybe drop one size for 5000-7000 feet. Mine has a slightly hanging idle w/45 pilots at 0-2000 feet.
Needles leave alone for 3,000 feet and probably still leave alone for 5000-7000 feet.
I would double check w/hauck to be sure though as they make the pipes
my viper right now w/hauck pipes on 0-2000ft is 148.8 on pto & center, 150 mag, stock needle height, and 45 pilots.

Why disconnect lines to airbox? What are your views on these pipes /fuel consumption /reliability/ power ect?

Because if you don't disconnect the lines to the airbox your jetting will need to be around 163 pto/center to 165 mag. Your fuel consumption will be terrible as well. Reliability seems to be good with the pipes. Fuel consumption isn't bad, because the sled actually gets jetted leaner than stock. But you have to unplug the vent lines to the airbox to be jetting leaner. It even says so in the Hauck instructions. When my friend has these pipes on his viper, he got better gas mileage than me with my sled being stock at the time.
