I have seen a number of threads over the years where members talk about mods they would like to do or have heard of but, they don't have the expertise, skills or equipment to do them. I am a machine design engineer for a major window/doors manufacturer so I have the engineering background and design experiance. I have CAD at home and access to a local machine shop that could produce prototype parts.
I am wondering if anyone here on T.Y. would be interested in having me create your ideas and designs in CAD and them have me work with the machine shop to create prototypes for a fee?
I have not checked this out with Mr. Sled to see if this is ok to do on T.Y. and I have not checked on liability and/or legal issues yet. I am just trying to get a feel for how many of you might be interested in doing something like this. Who knows, maybe someone's idea would be good enough to get a patent and then make some money off of their it.
