What kind of weights are you running with them?
The advantage will shift out a lot harder/faster then the dalton 48-40.

You would gain about 4-500 rpm,s & the sled would shift out a lot faster. I have done a comparison with 48/40,s of both helix,s same sled same day.Shifting out faster is not neccesarily a good thing. Is your sleds clutching off the sweet spot now? If it is not why do you want to change?

Yeah I saw the same Helix...according to Turks specs those numbers in an Advante-edge helix might see better gains over the Dalton...but then again MrViper700 suggested a dalton to me(on another heliz) and after talking with Yamerdown, he's having great results with his Advant-edge versoin...could you see better results with one over the other?..I don't know...but I'm sure learning a hel'va lot reading both Turks and MrVipers input...
Good luck

I think whats happening here is people are getting the helixs mixed up as to the brands, the helix I tell people to use with h/c's in a viper is a 48/34 this is either a dalton, pioneer, bender, hauck, the helix Turk likes to use is made by a difernt company, the 48/40 advant edge is close to the same angles but is cut on a differnt radius and it shifts differnt then the ones I use and have previously reccomend, its not that its bad ,its just differnt, and I think people are trying to compare the 2 and they are way differnt as to shift characteristics. As turk said before the weight set up will be slightly differnt between the two helixs but both can be made to work well.
