Do any of you guys have the adjustable Yamaha transfer rods? If so I need to know how to put them on....

i have a set on my srx, pretty straight forward installation if there the same set up, just knock off the wheels carefully ( a block of wood and a hammer on the end of the shaft work really well) pound the one wheel off, then slide the shaft out, this will let you install the new rods, then just unbolt the back bolts, take off the old rods, install the new ones (dont tighten the bolt that links the top and bottom of the rod as it needs to be really loose to reinstall the suspension) Be sure to inspect the bushings and reinstall them correctly, and then use some blue loctite on the bottom bolt that holds the rod to the skidframe... after you do this then i found the easiest way to install the wheels back on since they are a press fit is to use the collars that go over the shaft and a bolt to press the wheel back on.... worked slick for me and eliminated a lot of swearing. When your done make sure both are adjusted the same and you should be good to go. Dont forget a bit of blue loctite on the shaft bolts either, dont want them coming loose.
