I am looking to get a new track instead of the stock track I have. What is the best track that I can stud? Can I put a ripsaw on here? Predetor? What is the best track for trail/lake setup?

1" Predator would be your best bet, especially if you stud.1.25 lug track will cause clearance problems with studs if you don't install 8 tooth drivers and regear. Some have done it with there stock drivers, but its not recommended by Yamaha and many others. If you get the Predator makes sure its the six pitch track, also the Hacksaw has alot of positive feedback on here as well with it being better on packed snow and the Predator better in loose snow.
01 srx
I also have a 01 srx, a low mileage one with stock track. I´ve bought a 1.25 bombardier track(partno.504152483) with 96 bottomline traction studs and long nuts. In new condition but, I wonder will it work with stock drivers? I have the stock stud protectors in front and tunnel, do I need stud protectors at rear cooler?

Youd be really pushing it with that track esp. with studs of a unknown length. Your sled should have come stock with rear protectors.

Track
1in. Hacksaw w/ 192 studs, hooks up great on a 2000 SRX, Just purchased 3 more Hacksaws for our 3 Vipers going to go w/ 144 studs on them.

I had a Hacksaw pre holed for 144 on my 99 SRX...had to use double backers every other lug..nice track but the fingers on the clipped area rubbed on the front heat exchanger protectors...minor fix but cutting them off...worked well in all conditions
