I have a H/C 40-10y kit coming for my piped 136 04 Viper S. I'm not sure if the kit comes with a secondary spring. I'm sure it doesn't come with a helix. I'm looking for advise on what helix to use, what springs to use and a good starting point for the waights. I'm after some arm pulling bottom end with a good back shift and 1/4 mile speed. Top end is not that important. Also i just purchased the sled and the owner said the top gear was lowered one tooth. Should this be chenged back to stock?

The hc,s work netter with a dual angle helix & a secondary spring change. I have some helix,s & springs that will work. I live in Brandon so i am not that far away. You never said what pipes ur running. It makes a difference. if you are not concerned about top end & want the best acceleration keep that gearing.

Thanks Turk. I'm still hoping you'll come over and help set this thing up for me when the snow gets here. I had talked to you about it a while ago.
The pipes are benders. I'm going to try and get a good starting set up before you come, but i'v never done clutch work before so you'll have to bare with me. I also have a stock 04 Viper S and that we can race against to compare. I'm planning on getting a GPS so we can get some real results. Should i get a helix and spring or just wait and see what you bring? Also how much waight and where.

Get a used rx-1 helix. Start with 4 grams heel & tip & run a green secondary spring at 60-70 wrap.
