99 Srx No Spark Where To Start

WHere should I start to trouble shoot the problem
Any one got a wiring diagram?

you always start from the source and work your way out to the sparkplugs, so the pick up coil is where you need to start checking annd see if you have varying voltage coming out of the pick up coil wires, white/red,white/green wires. when you pull over the rope the voltage should vary up and down.

i would start by making sure the key was on...im sorry i had to...but follow mrviper he is very knowledgeable about stuff like this.good luck.

Check your wiring harness under the motor! Had the exact problem last year with my srx. Lost all spark and the harness had rubbed through.

You may want to disconnect the ignition switch and the kill switch before going any further.

Check the resistance in the sparkplug caps also.
