My srx pipes have seen better days. I was thinking of painting them with that high temp paint.
I was gonna do the cover painted with that high temp aluminum intake color and the pipes black,
Will this just burn off in a week or so and look like shit again?

I used high temp paint on my triple pipes last season and started to flake off after a full season of riding, but i heard there is some good shit out there on the market that holds up quite well, type in a search under painted exhaust to see what brands are out there that others have used. But your best bet is to either get the pipes ceramic coated or powdercoated. It will look and last much longer.
I was kinda thinkin for a quick cheap solution. The pipes are kinda dinged up so i dont wanna put allot of time and money into them.

Get the pipes glass beaded by someone. Maybe a local parts store or one of your buddies. Use any good hi temp paint from a parts store like NAPA. The pipes will look really nice and the paint will stay on without flaking.
