I've got a couple of the holes in the lower half of my SRX airbox that are pretty well stripped out and would like to fill them in and re drill them to tighten the screw up in them but am not sure of what to use.Has anyone else had this problem and what did you use to remedy the situation.I would like to take it and have the holes plastic welded in and then re drill them but the holes are so small I'm not sure it can be done that way.

2 part epoxy might work?

ok, heres a way to do it just take a hot soldering gun and melt the hole kind of halfway closed and reuse the screw thru the hole once cooled down, its just self tapping screws anyways, it will work if you take your time.

I wonder if changing all the holes out to a screw that can accept a heli-coil?
If not I'd go for a 2 part epoxy but be sire it is designed for the plastic that the box is made out of. I'd also sculpt some sort of bottom plug out of the epoxy, kind of like having a plastic nut at the bottom of the hole. This way it will not pull out.
Just thinking.
Then there is the used market. Can't imagine they could cost too much.
