Does anyone know a good set up for 500 ft on grass for a 01 srx 700(with heel clickers).Right now i'm running 4.8 in shoulder.0 in center and 6.0 in tip.red primary spring.Bender 2070b helix with silver spring at 70 degrees.Runs at 8400 rpm.Seems to be a good set up for agressive trail/lake-but im lost when it comes to grass.

You need to run the weight more in center and less in the tip.

Describe what it does now through the run, and what you'd like it to do...

put the 3.3 gram screws in the middle and tip and leave your heel weight in there. keeps you in the meat of the torque curve. its a great set up. ski

I was the tech guy at our clubs races the other week. I believe our new ISR rulebook says unlimited engagement now in stock classes. This means if you are just a local that loves his sled and doesn't want his sled to self destruct at 7,500 rpm engagement everytime, the guys that trade up every year and don't care are the ones that will be getting the holeshot. Another thing I don't like is that you can't modify your stock airbox at all in a stock class, yet you can run K&N filters in place of it! Not all that fair if you asked me!

to get good mid range and top end you're going to want to run all the weight in the heel and the tip (around 6 grams in heel and 7 grams in tip) the tip of the weight will just barely fit through the spider area when you load the tip up fully. Also use a 52/44 helix with the silver spring.
