Is there any other way to get cold air into my airbox on my srx without removing the gauges or cutting through the hood. I had some bogging issues when I was in the powder last year and I am trying to make it go away before the season. I just don't want to have to cut through the hood!!! I would like to be able to return the sled to stock before I sell it. Any Ideas???

how about just taking the top box lid and simply drilling a few extra 1" holes in it under the faom, replace the foam and do not remove the inner shelf, wont hurt the jetting then and it will help it draw some more air in.

The SLP flow-rites are cut into the dash. Just use a hole-saw (3-1/8?), can't remember what size off the top of my head. Very easy to do, and looks nice and clean. You do not have to remove your gauges. I highly doubt anyone would not want to buy your sled because of these installed, especially if they're familiar with Yammies. Mr Viper's advice is a great way to present MORE air into the air box, but not COLD air.

If you don't like the idea of putting vents in your dash, ie., very noticable, then I would do what Mr Viper suggested. This would be a lot more hidden. I have also been doing some research on the powder bog. I already have the SLP flow-rites, still bogs. My sled came with an exhaust deflector, still have the bog. If you don't have the deflector I would still put one on, my cousin's 98 SRX has the powder bog and doesn't have a deflector, his bogs REALLY BAD when side hilling on the right side. I don't believe adding one is going to be the cure-all though. It seems like the people that have cured it have done several things to their sled, so the problem still can't be pinned down on any one thing.
