I am going to put a 12v outlet on my srx and I would like to place it in the gauge pod next to the tach in the indents where the dcs lights are on the 02's. I have a 99 and I think that it would look the cleanest. From what I have read and the people I have talked to say that the best place for power is the blue wire going to the headlight switch. Is there another wire that would be next to the gauge pod itself??? I don't want to have to run that much wire. Tonight I went out and tested the wires next to the headlight and the only one I found was the red wire that is going into the condesor. Can I use the power going to the condesor??? Every other wire was either AC or it was a low voltage. Any Ideas would be great!!!!
P.s the last thing I need is to short something out.LOL

sure you could use the red wire as its also tied into the brown wire which comes right from the dc regulator.
