LED tail light install?

Does anyone know if you switch to a LED tail light, is there any other electrical mods you have to make or is it as simple as hooking up the 3 wires? I read somewhere on snowest that you have to change a resistor or diode or something.

I installed a barr led light when I installed my boss seat.............just hooked up the wires and that was that.......it was a 02 viper

you can get an LED tail light with the same 1157 bulb as the sled. No need to wire anything.

Where can you find an LED 1157 bulb? Dealer or special order?

I added a tunnel extension and want to put one of the small bar lights on the back of the tunnel. I'll try the direct hookup. Thanks

A word of caution...It does not produce the same amount of heat, to help melt snow dust off the rear lense. So more dusting off is required...Also these bulbs work best with the clear lenses...cheers
