Here is a couple old posts on adding reverse to an SRX and relocating a battery in a Viper. You should be able to do the same battery mod with your SRX to add electric start. G.B.

You need to relocate the battery by turning it 90 degrees in the sled and placing it on top of the side foot well. You then need to purchase a gel cell battery that is smaller than the original one in order for it to fit. This is the battery a few TY members are using when they relocated their battery.

I was going to relocate the battery on my Viper to make room for using an SLP can. I have since changed my mind and sold the can. I have a smaller battery tray I bought that is from a Sea Doo PWC that I think would work good for this mod. Send me a PM if you are interested.

Bender and SLP pipes are NOT routed the same. I am pretty confident that the Benders would clear reverse and e-start. Heck, the Bender silencer pack takes up less space than the stock suitcase.

Here is the left over real estate on my Bender tripled 02'.

I have an 04 VIper ER with benders. Didn't do anything different with the battery. There is just as much room as the original muffler. I would post a pic but my picture server is still down.
