Will the viper seat bolt right on? Seems like it would. Just no snaps on the side, right?

Yes it will. You'll like the look, but not the ride. The Viper seat has a big hard foam block in it. I HATED it!!. Even put a new cover with 2" of extra dense foam from an upholstery shop. I ran an SX seat for 3 rides until I got the Boss that's on there now. SX seat was WAY more comfy than the Viper seat IMHP.
You could always do what BOSS does and just use heavy velcro.

Viper seats are nicer and narrower than the sxr seat. Just don't get an 02 seat those were the stiff ones. If you want the nicest one with a blue stripe get one off a Venom, that s what I put on the girlfriends sled and she loves it. If you want it to look right though you need the gas tank and the rear bumper pieces.

I've got one on ebay and people have been asking me is why i ask. i ordered a boss for my viper - it should be here next week. i hope I like it - it was not cheap!! I'll post pics when I get it.
this seat doesn't seem as hard as other 02 viper seats - me and a buddy could hardly tell a difference between it and the 04 seat foam.
