i have a mountain srx and i have 1 black vent cover on the hood and i looked at yamahas website but i dont know where i can get them. they are black and clip into place to block the vents, i then plan on buying the mpi air kit that you intall on your dash.. so if you know where i can get the black plastic hood vent cover it would be greatly appreciated

I was wondering what those were for. I drilled out all my screens to paint them & had one of the vents caped by one of those....didn't know if it was a biggie to put it back. I just ride trails, if I know for sure I don't need it you can have it.

i took mine out, sitting out in the garage, ive rode for 4 years now without it, i think it looks better with it out, which is why i did it in the first place, not sure of performance gains/losses or anything though
