When I checked my pistons, the O-Rings we're a little bit stretched. I had extra O-rings but from a wiseco kit. The inside O-ring was orange for the original, but the wiseco was black. I was just wandering if the wiseco black O-ring cant handle as much heat as the orange. Is this going to cause problems in the future.
P.S: I am still using oem pistons but with wiseco O-ring head gaskets.

a little trick is to place the orings in the freezer for about a half hour, they will return to thier original size.

Good trick, that would have saved me a few O rings!
Ok cool, my question is will the black wiseco O-ring with stand the heat?

The redish orange o-rings are either Viton or high temp silicon material. These are generally a tougher material rated for higher heat applications. The black material is either Buna or EDPM. The EDPM material is better and tougher than the Buna. Over the years, I've not seen black viton seals but, it doesn't mean they don't make them. There is a reason Yamaha chose the seal material for OEM parts. I have no experience with Weisco seals but, I would guess if they sell them for the application they would work.
Good luck,
