Can I run 150psi on my 2002 srx ported 700? I run 93 octane fuel always. Right now it has 140 but would like to bump it up 10 more psi. At one time I had a 780 in it and was running 165psi but the dcs kept going off whenever I punched it. just wondering about my dcs going off with 150? That is what I always trail rode my old T-Cats with.

I don't see why not as long as you use good freash high octane fuel,
my '95 v-max came from yamaha with 150 stock(they used a thin H/G back
them)and i only use 89-93 in that when it get used(not very often).

We have and old Cat EXT 550 with 150 psi in it. We run 87 all day long. If you take your compression divide it by 2 and add 1 that is supposed tio tell you what octane you are supposed to be able to get away with.
