on my 2002 yamaha viper i hit a rock last year put new skids hyfax and track on thats all i needed and now its prematurely wore the hyfax near the front of rear suspension near the 2 idler wheels and the track seems tight there does anybody know wat the problem is

we put everything back on how it came off but yah someone told me that i tightened it a bit but i think i will do it a bit more how tight does a person want it like it makes a clicking noise as the tracks running

Don't run the track to tight. Is will be hard on everything then.I think mine is 1 1/4" space in the middle with 16lbs pull on the scale.I keep my limiters fairly on the loose side, better for when you are in bumpy and areas where you will drop down into something. This gives the front shock a chance to work for ya.To tight on the limiters and you are compressing the shock, and it won't work for you properly. Some guys tighten the limiters all the way up in all out racing, which plants the ski's down.To tight will rob you on speed also.
