just recieved my new crank and was wondering what would be the best solvent to clean the rust prevention goo out of the bearings that wont damage the seals on the 2 brgs both sides of the brass gear?
Brake clean.

I wouldn't use brake clean, try mineral spirits, safe on the seals..
