Considering switching from the stock 121" to a 136" track. I have browsed thru here looking at some of the stuff that is out there. Some questions:

Will a 136 skid just bolt right in??

Does gearing need to be changed??

Can you use the same drive wheels??

What is the biggest lug track I can run??

Ok, this will get me started. Any help would be appreciated.

I got a 136 extension on my sx and I'm using the same drivers, 1.25 track I'm guessing you could do up to a 1.75 ? I drop one tooth on the top but you can run stock gear....I wanna say a 136 off a venture would bolt right in or it will be an easy deal......

Hope I put my 2 cents on that info...

I got a 136 skid from a 98 or 99 MM along with 144 extender brackets, only a few holes to drill and it slipped right in to my SX. Got a tunnel extension from a junked MM. Only prob is the hoses to the rear crossover tube end up exposed but you can always fab covers. I was unsure about lug but got a 1 1/8" lug full block track off ebay for under $200. Skid and almost new plastics skis cost another $250. Probably should have dropped a tooth on top but haven't so far. Lots of extra travel and great hook up.
