I bought a new rear suspension shock for the sled, it compresses really hard, any trick to get it compressed enough to bolt up in the mounting brackets, with out having 4 hands? thanks

what i did was go to an auto parts store and get a small tie down rachet looped it around the shock and the tightened it down to compress the shock, worked like a charm, then i just cut it.

I have a spring compressor, and can get it compressed that way, might take a plastic zip tie and try to hold it there, then get it in the brackets, and cut it loose. Hopefully it will work.BuckSwashler said:what i did was go to an auto parts store and get a small tie down rachet looped it around the shock and the tightened it down to compress the shock, worked like a charm, then i just cut it.
