"srx rear suspension redo"

started to redo the srx suspension im going to powdercoat all of the metal parts chrome and blue and polish the rails up then powder clear coat them. also getting some new bushings and new wheels. let's see your suspension redo's i need some ideas.

hes not chroming the skid rails, hes polishing them and powdercoated them clear so the polished look wont fade.

AmatoSRX: PM ya about powdercoating some parts for me.

ahhh, I see!

good idea! I was not aware there was clear PC.

I just used steel wool and mothers alum. polish on my rails, gave me enough shine to make me happy.

I started to work on the shocks today they polished up real nice. what color should i do the springs chrome, blue or pearl white. give me your ideas.

Looks good all them parts.You have a little patience I see.Me to,to a point.Just had all my skid parts painted Blue,cleaned the rails a bit and put on new wheels.That's the end of that.Just want to keep the parts looking new so that they won't rust,but not spending a lot of money and time to do it either.My sled is not going into a sled show or anything.

here is the rear shock all done the pearl white is a nice color. thanks blue monster it does take alot of time to do this. all of these parts have over 12,000 miles on them and started to get rusty.
