Getting there, but need some parts to come in. Should get everything next week I imagine. Got some exhaust gaskets and bolts comin in, and new track. once that's in I can finish her up, and be ready.

Too bad we are getting like 20cm's tonight and tomorrow, and my sled is jacked up and skid out, waiting for a new track :o|

haha suspension is out, edge skid is half torn apart, just realised track is worst shape then i thought so gotta order new track and new studs, then gotta install both track, studs and the edge skid and once thats ready i gotta fix the wiring under my motor thats rubbing... needless to say i need a month.....

lol motor out, hood and seat off, but as soon as thats back together im good, got to go get a new powervalve as i had a pull through last season, but other then that little pricey item lol im good

lets see who has the most work to do before winter lol.....got my 98 msrx carbs clean, new reeds, clutches cleaned, chain oil changed......rear skid out both rails cracked,w-arm cracked, bottom shock mount cracked, top end coming apart tonight for port job and new pistons and rings....waitin on parts and trailer repairs

Mine are all ready to,got some light snow today again, enough to run around the yard,I try on the weekend.More snow coming next week and temps are dropping.Soon will be able to take them out and play abit. But need a real good snowfall go run the the ditches.

WOOT!....just ran one of mine around the yard tonight...NOW I REALLY cant wait!

My 98-SRX is sitting up on a lift waiting for bearings before reinstalling new 136 x 1.25 track and extensions this year!...they should be in for the weekend....praying for snow now!

well mind the motor top end is all aparts loll... probably be all back together this weekend lolll... aways needs to search for new hp :-))

it makes for a really nice backrest on the long rides.......:-)

...JK....:)

this pic was actually taken right after several drag races between a bunch of us.
I'm giving one of our faithful spectators a ride back to the cabin we were staying at.
...good fun!
(BTW....the SRX faired quite well against the competition....>:-)

Just had mine my REV out around the yard with about 2 inches on the ground, the SRX 700 has the power valves all cleaned I just have to play with some clutching and a few other odds and ends then I'll be able to go fast!!! I have to play now cause I'm sure our snow will be gone tommorrow.

haha top this...

-Edge skid completely disassembled, right now polishing rails and painting all arms may get rails powdercoated
-Reassemble the Edge
-Remove track
-Get new track
-Stud new track
-Install new track
-Make new mouting bolts for edge
-mount edge and new track
-fix wiring under motor
-remove and clean valves
-replace the one valve

Already completed:
-Suspension removed
-Old skis removed
-C&A's with 8" bides installed

That's why you have to have 2 vipers , one to work on and one to play on . Now I believe it's time to go PLAY ............. yeh snow in Barrie .......

We already have about 3" suppose to get more throughout the day and evening.

good bit of snow on the ground and my sled is jacked up, with the skid out, clutches out, exhaust off..lol

Things I still need to do:

- waiting for parts, exhaust gaskets, new clutch springs, new track
- need to order new Shock Bushings for the skid, and new Speedo Cable
- need to put the old spring onto new Shock
- install shock.
- replace track
- install skid
- put clutches back together, and install

well once the parts come in I should finish all this up in a weekend or so, but been waiting 2 weeks for parts so far, hope it comes in next week.

Finished the Viper shock swap, PP's small wheel kit and wheel spacer kit, cleaned power valves and all the regular maintainance is all done!! Can't wait to try out the new long travel!! Now all we need is some snow damn it!!

Working on a 98 srx needs power valve seals, cleaned clutchs needs drive axle bearing and idler bearings .Also going to clean carbs, found secondary set at 110 i think it should be 60 or 70 degre.IT has stock clutching.
