I have a brand new tps if you need one. Maxdlx
Tps
I bought a set of bored carbs a few years back and the same thing happen to me. I just marked the where the broken one was set at and replaced it with my the TPS from my stock carbs. Everything seems to be alright. You could set it with the OHM's to be sure if you wanted. The only thing you need for sure is a special tamperproof torx.

ya, you can swap them out, wont hurt a thing. The TPS has absolutely no bearing what so ever on wide open hp on the engine, it only effects timing and minor I might add in the mid range cruising part for better gas mpg for trail riding, if your racing it doesnt do anyhting, but if you have a tps sled you at least have to have it plugged in the wiring harness or the trouble lght will blink, we tried it all 3 ways hooked up, unhooked completely then hooked just dangling in harness discionnected from carbs, all 3 dyno pull the same no differance.

hey redsnake, do you need the pages out of the manual that go over what to do for adjusting the TPS? I could e-mail you the pages if needed. Let me know.
