Im tired of burning my thumb off, while having 4 frozen fingers...

I guess in 2000, they went to the separate hand/thumb, and the dual bulb?

ANyhow, wondering if anybody has done this, and may have a wiring scheme for which wires are which?

Any help is appreciated!

On my 2000 added 25 ohm reostat next to oem reostat. Just ran thumb warmer curcuit though 25 ohm reostat and got 01 sticker for face plate. Ran it all last year, worked great.

I put a separate control on my old VMax. I just got another control, put it next to the other one. I don't remember the exact wiring, but the thumb does have its own wire and I remember having to create a jumper. Once I was done, the thumb control worked opposite of the hands. The variable resister for the grips deterines how much current gets wasted to ground, and the one for the thumb will determine how much goes through.

FYI, some while later the thumb warmer died. Once I replaced it with a new one the temperature was more even with the grips.
