I would splice into the head lamp wiring since I assume you will be mounting these to the hood. G.B.

yea have u ever done it?
i have four. 8 inch long tubes. with 21 colored led lights in each and have had no problem ..and my power is comming from the tail light ....

just splice them into the headlight, i done this with a few led's that i had on the sled and spliced them into the high beams so i could turn them off by having on the low beams.

you can splice into any power source you can find . preferably headlight or tail light! won't hurt a thing!!!i have a ton of led.'s on my sled and a css. system! all running off of head and tail light power with an inline fuse!
