can anyone give me advice on buying a sled over the boarder? I have talked to some dealerships and most agreed to do warrenty work if I return to them to have it done, but no one can answer if there id duity on yamahas crossing the boarder?!?!? cats and polaris do not have duity on them because they are made in north america. but the yammi's are only assembeled there so its a grey area?

Your best bet is to get one that has changed hands once ( still can be brand new) but it needs an ownership change in order for you to be able to buy it as it is then seen as a used vehicle, you will pay $250 RIV charges, and need to get it inspected at a canadian tire once its accross the border you will also need to show the US customs the title 72 hours in advance to the sled leaving the country.... google Riv ontario and youll find all your info
