oil seal
Try Al's Snowmobile. I just got a oil seal from them that was unavailable through Yamaha for my 79 SRX.

i emailed speed and sport because i was doubting the accuracy of their website. they are checking to see if the seal is truely in stock or not.... its been a few hours now so i am starting to get scared... they dont take credit card orders less than $20 either so i might have to find something else to buy hehehe

wow if i find this seal i might have to get a few of them... i didnt think tracking down a part less than 4 dollars would be so difficult!
the only people that say they MAY be able to help are Stones Snow Sleds... they claim the can look on "find a part" whatever that is.(sounds like a salvage network) im afriad i maybe switching to the vmax setup or else calling erie bearing.

ive finially tracked down this seal!... i went to NAPA and they had one that was nearly correct but it was 2 mm too wide (33% too wide)... so i called erie bearing, they didnt have any either but the lady said she may be able to get one from another company.... she called them and then called me back and asked how many i wanted.... i told her i wasnt sure but that i should probably get more than one since they are so hard to find... she informed me they more i order the cheaper they got, so i told her i wanted $20-$30 worth so now i have 5 on order, that way when one of you guys needs one i have them btw one alone would have been $10
