Hi all, a friend of mine just got laid off from work and I had talked him into getting a sled late last season. He picked up a srx 700 T.T.
Question is; Are they close in comparison to the viper for maintenance...like P.V.S. & carbs...I do my own carbs & P.V. on my viper as well as my clutches.
Basically I would need a little help with the carbs & P.V. a little walk through...I am ok with the rest of the maintenance routine...any help would be great, 'cause I would like to save this guy some $$$ so he doesn't have to get rid of his sled...thanks for now

Thanks for the vote of confidence…mrviper – (Don, if can call you Don) & Daman, what is the stock fuel screw set at & witch cylinder (carb) is the pilot bigger, (P.T.O. or Mag) side…I also assume that the P.V. are notched with weep holes…Its a 2002, last of the T. Triples with a X-skid in it…Who can you recommend to help me with that (X skid) in way of tuning/adjusting it…any links…thanks again guys…cheers
Got her going
Well I just finished my first pre season work on a 02 srx...wow...they are a sweet machine...power valves, carbs, clutches, chain/oil service & track...all the regular stuff...the only thing is there is heck of a lot exhaust pieces/springs...all in all it took a good 6 1/2 hrs to do...put fresh hi grade fuel with a little seafoam, thats great stuff that seafoam...gonna run that tank out before I putt in new plugs...nice sounding sled, those triple exhaust sound sweet...thanks for all your help, guys...& season greetings to all...cheers
