So we changed some bogies on my friends 2000 SRX and lubed/checked all parts and pieces. The track was making the noise before we took the skid out and after re-assembly it is still there, just not as bad. It is like a clicking/rubbing noise and it sounds to me like the clips hitting the sliders...like the track is too tight. We adjusted it to spec and have done this numerous times with his V-Max. The sled only has 487 miles on it and needs sliders already...??? Anyone have anything similar happen? Thanks in advance.

Losten it up until the track starts to ratchet. then tighten it up a shade.
Keep the track lose on that sled or you will melt the sliders.
You may want to suck up the limeter strap a notch as well.

srxsex, hit the nail right on the head, tighten up the front limiter straps some it wont dig the rail ends into the track and click/drag as bad.

Mine makes this clicking noise but only when its on the stand. I figured its nothing to worrie about since I dont ride my sled on a stand lol.

nost long travel sleds now adays make a clicking sound when on a stand. the rails have alot more drop in it then sleds for a 10 years ago and that makes the angle of atack greater when its on the stand. so the clips catch the tips of the rails. but when its on the ground and the suspention is sitting in on its ride hight it should be fine. when i first started workin at the shop i noticed it all the time and now i just block it out cause its nuttin to worry about
