Winter has finally arrived.Well it is a start and I couldn't resist firing up the SRX.Got to ride around my yard today and put on 4 miles yet.Those damn Simmom's Ski's with the 6" carbides cut nicely.I can turn on a dime with them...awesome man.Couldn't really launch good without tearing up lawn,so went down to the front ditch to do that.Sled is running good.Have the HC's in the clutch now..got to pin it on the go at a couple straight lines along the side of the house.RPM's seem to be doing good...8500ish and no more.That is great news.I have to work on the engagement yet.Still engages at around 4500 apprx,want to get that down to 4000 rpm,but don't know If I will be able to.Need somemore washers,they are getting pretty stacked up on the heel bolts already.WOW,felt good..can't wait till we get a storm and have a solid base to ride on...then testing begins.HERE ARE SOME PICS for you guys with no snow yet.

glad to hear you had a good time. i put about 40 kms on mine today.most of it in my dads field and roads. first ride with the hauck triples, #$%$## does it ever pull! anyway just about game time gotta go

Where did you get the blue cobra shield?


I have one on my sled but they sent me a really really dark blue shield. Mine is so dark blue that it doesnt exactly match the paint but I was in a hurry and decided to live with it.

Nice sled.

I noticed some SRX has the Blue belly pan with trailing arms. While some others has silver trailing arms and black belly pan. Was this just an option when buying new?

So only for 01' but no choice in the matter. Strange. How about the belly pan color. Was that an option/choice?

This is the first 02 I see with blue for both.

2001 and 2002 both had silver trailing arms. The only year that came with black bellypans was 1998.

When people change the arms its most likely they have bent them or want to go for a lighter weight arm.
Ya in 01 and 02 they went silver and I think in both years they went silver tunnel also.
00 is all blue.Go Blue.
