Changing brakes on a 92 Phazer

Hey guys I want to put some new brake pads on my 92 Phazer. Are there any good tips out there? I have the caliper off and how do you get the brake pad off the caliper. I am thinking it might be siezed up. If I pull the brakes on the pad doesn't move. I am thinking I should take the caliper apart. Also how do youi get the brake pad off of the other side of the disk?

The disk and jackshaft have a keyway and slot. If the disk is free you should(?) be able to side/pry it away from the chaincase enough to slide the brake pad out ?
