under WOT the temp flashes on my SRX. I know it was not running hot though. wondering if something electrical might be going bad. I also noticed that it doesnt flash more than a couple times on start up, any thoughts?

You sure its not getting hot?
Are you riding in marginal snow? I had this happen a few times in marginal snow with a deep lug long track with rear heat exchanger removed with just a cross over tube. Cools down and shuts off when I hit snow, so it is possible.

not to jack your post, but why run your sled without a rear exchanger?
Any chance you can get a count and sequence on the flashes?From your avatar I take it you have a 99 SRX and if so I have a service manual for a 98 and they should be the same trouble shooting codes.Let us know and I'll see what I can find out for you.
It had to be removed for the 121-136 conversion. Hartman, Who I bought the kit from said no cooling issues with this kit but I was riding on very marginal snow for a bit. It was my fault. I hit some fresh snow and it cooled off. I never had any cooling issues after that.

fourbarrel thanks for offering to look up codes. it started acting funny late last season and snow conditions were good, UP snow. it was flashing continously at WOT then when I let off to 3/4 it went away. I really dont think it was hot but maybe ??? anyways i will give more info on next ride which should be a couple weeks.
