i would like to know what the switch under the hood does under the hood that says oxye fuel and normal .... what does oxye fuel mean? ... i dont think thats how it is spelt but hey who can read after 12 beers lmao.... any help would be great

Not absolutely possitive but that switch came with machines that had the SMART CARBS and what it does is enrichens the mixture when you are putting in oxegynated fuel which would make the machine run leaner.

Yeap that it. I am not sure where you could get it but there are oxygen enriching additives which could be added to the gas. Somehow Yamaha figured it would be used enough to built this option to accomodate it into the sled. Might be used more in racing circles. But I guess better than burning the engine out. Any gas station gas would have this selected at Normal.
