Anyone ever try putting a rev seat on their machine?

well, one guy here has a well received rev styled seat on his white SRX.
I say give it a shot, it is far from a sin.

My freind had his seat off ( so did I ) so I layed it on the tunnel and with very slight modification it would definatly fit. Even the trunk fits. Looks very similar to Boomer's seat. Puts you up really high. Could definately be a cheap alternative to a Boss. Will try to post some pics tomorrow.

The member with the white SRX has a custom BOSS seat that is modeled after the REV design. However I was wondering about this Mod myself. What chassis is your sled, Pro-Action? If so how did the REV seat fit around the tank?

Front of seat would need to be trimmed around the tank and a piece would have to be added to the bottom of the seat in the lower tank area where the tank bolts to the tunnel and some sort of support would have to be fabricated for the seat up by the tank. That being said I think that it is a very dooable project. The doo seats are pretty plentiful and if you're a little crafty the work required is no biggy. I can't get over how high it puts you and it IS very close to fitting on my sled. Oh by the way the sled it an 04 600 Venture that is undergoing some mods.(That's going to be another thread).

Nice, I've been wondering about a REV seat on my sled. They are all over ebay right now might be a good time to grab one with the dollar the way it is. if you do it make sure you post the process up.

GUARANTEEED. I'm pretty sure this is going to go ahead. I've got one other option that I'm playing with, so I have to see how that looks first. Will post pics of sled when finished.
