I just took the viper out for a rip to test the new set up. Holy crap!!! does it fly. The problem is traction. Its a 136 ripsaw track. I checked the clearence between the track and the front heat exchanger. Its about 1/2", is that enough for studs or will the track fling out that far at high speed and hit the exchanger? I'v never studded a sled before, never had this much power before, any info would be great.

Anytime you stud a sled you need to use tunnel and heat exchange protectors. The problem with a 1 1/4" track is that it doesnt allow enough clearence for the protectors.
