I know you can drill an SX silencer but what mods can you do to a stock viper silencer? I also know that fix power sports cuts them open modifies and then rewelds. What do they do in there?

Someone did a study with dyno testing a few years back and found that the fix mod did basically nothing for power, just made it louder. They don't respond to mods like the red head silencers do.

yamaholic... Thanks for the info. That's what I thought but, my 22 yo son is bound and determined that louder means more power. To me it means possible ticket and disruption if riding a trail near houses.
