Does the 99 srx cylinder fits the 2001 srx

Yes it will fit but as he said the porting on the 00-02's is slightly higher than on the 98-99's.

try to find a '00 to '02 cyl.............

I thought that the 02 had different porting from the 00-01 because of the Dcs. And arnt the 00-01 numbers the same and the 02 different, I would suggest looking for a 00-01 cylinder.

I KNOW JETTING WAS BACK TO 2000 SPEC ON 2002 BECAUSE OF DCS. EVERYTHING I HAVE SEEN SHOWS PORT SPEC TO BE SAME ( 00-01-02). 98 SRX AND 99 SRX PORTING IS THE SAME BUT 98 CYL,s DON,T HAVE DOWEL PINS FOR POWER VALVE BLOCK. 3:16 (yammie tony)

the port specs are differnt for the 98-99 to the 2000-02 cylinders, so, no, they dont interchange without doing work to them. The 99 cylinder can be made to work as it has the powervalve dowel holes but will need the exhuast port and transfer ports changed to the 2000-up spec.
