hauck triple pipe questions

any body knowledgeable on clutching and jetting when hauck triples are put on a 2000 sxr 700 am I going to love these pipes or are they a pain thanks :letitsnow
 

those are good pipes, I had them and it was a very strong runner, youll be running it at 8800-8900rpm now, I ran 47.5 pilot jets, 1.5 turns out on fuel screws stock needles and 147.5 main jets. For clutching I ran 8dn-10 weights with a bender purple primary spring, 52/42 helix with green spring
 
roughly how much money is involved with the clutching and jetting components was your set up good for trail? i weigh 200 pounds that setup good for me? thanks a alot again
 
It depends if you can find some used stuff, that would be great but I wanna say you are looking around $ 200/$250. Springs new at the dealer lioke that green one is $20 or less, helix might be another $50-$75 the bender spring I don't know but I would say $ 30 tops and weights new ones at the dealer are 30 a piece roughly...That might give you a start...

I forgot the jets but those are like 6 bucks for the 3 and pilots are 5/7.
 
I spend most of the time out on tonka hit the local loops whenever there is snow and iam not working, and then hopefully up north for some weekends how bout you?
 
Yep around here Luce line and around. Couple times to michigan per year but this year I hope we get snow here. I don't think I'll be going....Good luck with the pipes...and let me know if you need anything...Nick
 
You'll love the pipes!!!! I'v had them on my 01 SX-R 700 for about 4 years. I've got thin head gaskets, reed spacers, boost bottle in addition to the pipes. I've got 47.5 pilots, 150 mains 1.5 out on screw, stock needles raised 1/2 clip up, never had ANY problems!! As for the clutches, boy its been so long I got all my clutch shit form Hauck. Stock spring with shim, stock weights w/4.5g outer, 3.6g inner(I think) secondary has Hauck green spring "S" helix 60 wrap I believe
